Update from Zlatko & Rosilind:
Dear Friends,
This has been such a full and meaningful season for our family and ministry here in Croatia. As I look back over these past few months, I’m especially grateful for the ways I’ve seen God working in our young people, stretching me into new areas of ministry, and continuing to open doors for us to serve people and share Jesus. Jukic Family August Update
One of the highlights for me was teen camp. Both of our boys were able to attend, and Andrej came home declaring it was the best camp ever! As a mom, I loved hearing that—but what happened spiritually was even more exciting. Two young people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and another was baptized in water. There is nothing quite like watching the next generation encounter Jesus for themselves and begin building their own relationship with Him.
God has also been stretching me personally. I’ve recently been asked to oversee our entire children’s ministry, our International service, and our translation ministry. Each one is very different, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve in all of them. I’ve also continued to have opportunities to teach and recently shared at our International service about “How to Hear the Voice of God.” I would truly appreciate your prayers for wisdom and balance as I learn how to lead these ministries while still being personally involved with the people in them.
Our online women’s Bible study, Good Morning Girls/Dobro Jutro Djevojke, also continues to grow. We recently began a Psalm 91 Scripture Writing Challenge that I wrote earlier this year. We are intentionally slowing down to write, meditate on, and pray through Scripture. My prayer is that the women participating won’t simply know Psalm 91 better, but will know more deeply the God who is their refuge and shelter.
Our family is also stepping into some new seasons. Robi has started his second year of secondary trade school studying to become a media technician, and Andrej has begun eighth grade—which means this is our final year of homeschooling! That one is definitely bittersweet for me. Zlatko is also doing more online work and moving further into graphic design, and it has been exciting to watch God open doors for him creatively and professionally.
As we continue moving forward, I would love your prayers for wisdom as my responsibilities grow, for our children and teens to develop deep and lasting relationships with Jesus, and for the people attending Alpha who are searching and asking questions about faith.
Thank you for continuing to pray for us, encourage us, and partner with what God is doing here in Croatia. It means so much to our family to know there are people standing with us from across the world. We are grateful for you and excited to see what God does next!
With love and gratitude,
Zlatko & Rosilind
